The Fair Lawn Amateur Radio Club (W2GLO) and Bergen County radio operators continue their rich tradition of public service and emergency preparedness across Northern New Jersey.
During seasonal emergency preparedness drills, members activate battery-powered VHF/UHF stations and HF nets, providing resilient backup messaging for local Office of Emergency Management (OEM) officials.
Through ongoing licensing classes, antenna construction workshops, and public ham radio demonstrations, Fair Lawn ARC fosters technical education for new radio amateurs in Bergen and Passaic counties.
